CHURCH AMONG HIDDEN PEOPLES UNDER CONSTRUCTION
DECADES OF FAITHFULNESS OPENS DOORS THAT NO MAN CAN SHUT!
Anything worth accomplishing in God’s kingdom takes a DEEP COMMITMENT of time, prayer, sacrifice, and most of the time years of good works – ESPECIALLY in winning resistant peoples.
“Yea, and if I be offered upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I joy, and rejoice with you all.” Philippians 2:17
In the case of this church plant (name withheld), what was once a vision is now an exciting living reality! Incredible miracles of God’s grace “pile up” behind this story. For one – the pastor nearly died in a tragic accident two years ago and made an incredible recovery. Doctors said he would NOT live, but our heavenly Father had other plans. Second, this group (unreached tribe) of people have been on our GRM prayer cards for over 17 years! The Lord heard those prayers. Please never give up on prayer! NEVER.
MEDICAL CAMPS PLAYED AN IMPORTANT ROLE
In these regions – high in the mountains there are no hospitals, not even a clinic. So when you have NO access to medicine it’s very hard for us to imagine. We take an aspirin when we have a headache. Go to the dentist when we have a severe toothache. If we have a bad flu, we get shots. When badly dehydrated, it might be a night in the hospital…the list goes on. But what if you had to travel several days just to go to a clinic? Traveling on a long trail for a couple miles, then a small washed away road, with no transportation? We have seen children’s hands that were cut to the bone, packed with cow dung and wrapped with a banana leaf in hopes of healing it. Also, these villages sometimes will send representatives to our native leaders for help in time of crisis.
TRIBAL CHRISTMAS VISITS
Every year we share with GRM co-laborers that Tribal Christmas is a DOOR OPENER. We come with food, blankets, and presentation of the true meaning of Christmas. They never forget this time of the year. MOST times we are invited back at the beginning of the year.
IT’S A COMBINATION OF LOVE, WATCHFULNESS, AND FAITHFULNESS THAT WINS THE HEART
It’s the law of sowing and reaping: sow love and reap souls. Christ’s long-suffering love and patience with godly endurance is the price paid to witness this tribe coming to the Lord. These are restricted areas with no missionary access, but native workers are always welcome. Yes, it’s been a long time in waiting, but we have never lost hope that it would happen. The problem we have now is its harvest time for some of these tribes and only a few have a heart for them. (Read Rev.5:9)
If you have a heart for unreached tribes, give us a call. We can only share a little here (online) without interference. Reaching the Last of the Lost, unreached tribes that have no gospel witness, is a major call for Gospel Revival Ministries (GRM). These tribes STILL exist! We know where they are. We need to find great commission Christians to help us.
