Water Well and Jugs for Slaves in Brick Maker Prisons

FIRST WATER WELLS IN BRICK MAKER PRISON!

We had no idea if it was even possible to put a well in a prison!

Then the temperatures began to rise (110 -115) and the prisoners were drinking polluted water! We had an emergency at this prison (100 prisoners could have died). By the grace of God we were permitted to put in a small well. Instantly people cried, cheered, and deeply thanked our leaders. None of these people will forget us. Post evangelism campaigns are next!

What a way to touch an entire prison for God!

We are standing amazed at the permission that was given and then the well was up and working in less than a week!

We know we did not share this with our GRM co-laborers as it was an emergency and prisoners were close to death. They were still demanded to work 12-14 hours a day making their daily quota of bricks. Before the well, we started our annual water jug campaign. Hundreds of families are blessed by these jugs. They keep the water cooler for longer periods of time out in the hot sun. We are told they are equivalent to giving a person a car. They are invaluable.

You never know what is happening at GRM. We will let you know if we pursue this project in the future. We preceded this with our annual water job campaign. We were not able to share this either as the need was so desperate!

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.”

Acts 10:38
