John Celebrates 69th Birthday in Brickmaker Prison!

For several years, I have celebrated the very first hours (2:00 am) of my birthday at a brick kiln prison.

On my birthday, I sleep in but have warm thoughts in my heart.

We try to choose prisons where the children have never had a birthday cake before. Can you imagine?

THIS YEAR WAS MUCH DIFFERENT!

We celebrated my birthday at the same time in five locations in Pakistan:

  • in an unreached village,
  • at My Father’s House,
  • two Teresas Sewing Centers,
  • and at a brick kiln!

I’m truly amazed at the technology that is available to us, which we often don’t use for spreading the gospel. We beamed directly into a remote village and the audio message reached all five locations at once. I spoke about John 14:1-15, where Jesus said He is preparing a mansion (dwelling place) for us.

My biggest birthday present is seeing an entire brick kiln come to Christ.

I was 58 years old when we began the Set the Captives Free Program! I never imagined what would unfold in the years to come. All praise, honor, and glory to our great God, and heartfelt thanks to the Body of Christ.

I thank you for standing with us.

You ate cake with me.

None of this would have happened without YOU, our co-laborers!

Please pray as we have had an amazing month with another wonderful pastor’s meeting live streaming, giving out five motorcycles.

Then we had two blanket distributions.

Final Christmas distributions ended the second week of January.

We plan to set 22 families free in February from Kiln #87. At least 3 individuals and one couple have lost their lives trying to save a daughter from rape.

We also plan to start up another year at the GRM Bible School in India with 100 new rural pastors next month.

To put ONE uneducated pastor through one year of training with graduation documents only costs $180.

We urgently need help with this. Each pastor reaches villages of 500-700 and some larger villages.

Put a pastor through Bible school and reach a village for decades to come.
