Feeding Pastors in Pakistan

GRM CELEBRATES IT’S 40th ANNIVERSARY JUNE 1st! (1980-2020)

We were going to spend our 40th anniversary in Pakistan at My Father’s House with the children. Teresa and I so wanted to be with them then COVID-19 hit and our travel plans were soon dropped and emergency plans went into effect. It’s been quite an adventure, filled with life-changing decisions made on our heels, so to speak. Decisions were made that impacted thousands of people. We have helped over 1,000 pastors and their families alone that needed our urgent help. Decisions to walk on water, in faith, but the Lord not only kept us standing, we flourished during COVID-19. Two of our directors in India are still feeding 1,000 people a day with a small bag of rice and some extras.

WE COULD WRITE A SMALL BOOK OF MIRACLES OF GOD’S GRACE DURING THIS TIME!

God’s people became channels of blessings, the heart and hands of Jesus to so many thousands of people! We never realized how much of an impact GRM would make in so many locations within India, Pakistan, and Israel.

Today more than 500 native pastors of underground churches in Pakistan were helped with one month’s worth of groceries, which means we are essentially providing 5,000 meals a day in zone 2 of Pakistan alone. To God be the Glory and thanks to the body of Christ!

We continue this effort as we write.  Our director was sick and just recovering from the virus (COVID), but all night long our leaders packed a truck that they rented to go to the next 100 pastors and their families today (June 4, 2020).

THE DEDICATION OF THESE NATIVE LEADERS IS BEYOND WORDS.

The organizational skills of these endeavors are amazing. We have also witnessed several miracles among Muslims. For example, our food distributions became so large that we needed much more space. A Muslim man allowed us to use his large building to package the food for a month program. What God has accomplished with a smaller organization is equal to relief organizations 3-5 times our size.  Because we are working with native leaders who are getting discounts on food and travel, our costs are running a fraction of what some are paying for the same amounts. We are getting a lot of bang for the buck. Plus we are NOT inflating costs one cent. We rely on general donations to make up the overhead costs we acquire through this.

The program will last as long as we have urgent pleas from our native leaders and stories of people who have gone weeks without a proper meal. For $22 we can provide a Christian ministry leader with a family of 6 with groceries for a month. This will strengthen them to help hundreds more. When we invest in leaders, it’s the miracle of the loaves and the fishes!
