CHURCH FINISHED FOR BHATRA PROJA TRIBE

Today a Bhatra Proja tribal village HAS a church!

We want to thank you so much for helping us so quickly!

It’s not often when we can walk through these incredible doors of opportunity, but we did and we did it together as a team.

You prayed, you encouraged us, and sacrificed for the gospel.

Revelation 5:9

And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation…

IT WAS A TIME OF GREAT CELEBRATION IN THE VILLAGE!

So much preparation had gone into this that once the church was funded, we finished in record time. My heart is very emotional at this time with gratefulness to our God and our co-laborers in this wonderful adventure.

Teresa and I have worked these fields for so many years and today, these once resistant peoples who were blind to the gospel are coming to the Lord in record numbers. The newly built church was filled the first day.

These pictures were taken on the first day at the celebration, including baptisms.

NOTE: Gospel Revival Ministries has worked in these regions going on 20 years, helping and equipping deeply committed native workers to penetrate, communicate, and reach these tribes. Medical Camps and Tribal Christmas has played a key role in reaching them. READ MORE HERE…

BHATRA PROJA TRIBALS BAPTIZED

On opening day at the new church, 14 tribals were baptized. This is no small thing among tribals.

The day the church was dedicated; music, dancing and praying to our God was heard throughout the entire region.

The celebration was so powerful it resulted in a nearby Hindu leader, who used to rip up Bibles, coming to the Lord. He was baptized along with all the other saints. We gave him a new shirt after he was baptized. Our God reigns! (picture removed for the safety of our native leaders). If you receive our hard copy newsletter, the Hindu leader is shown bowing before the Lord. Not signed up yet,  just click here.
