The Hope Center construction is making excellent progress. They are just finishing up the roof for the first floor and will begin on the second floor this week! We hope to finish the major construction within 15 – 20 days.
Our first choice (building already built) that we shared with everyone did NOT happen. Without giving details on this page, the bottom line is, we had to take another route. We purchased land and are now building. After a time of testing, the favor we are now enjoying is amazing! The magnitude of this project is VAST, ministering to thousands of people displaced from their homelands.
Hundreds of the families NOW have Audio Bibles that GRM co-laborers provided for. As of today, over 1,500 units have been given to families one by one with care and instructions. They love them and play them all the time coming back with many questions.
The families were at the mercy of those who would help them in their hour of anguish. We were there from day one! We have to practice great wisdom in all we do, so please pray for us.
Due to the extreme sensitivity of this project, we are going to let the pictures speak for themselves. Our upcoming GRM newsletter will help fill in some blanks. Call or email us if you want to know more. We have hundreds of pictures of refugees and many written testimonies thanking us for loving them.
To say we are very excited and deeply humbled by God’s grace is an understatement. This scripture below fits today’s rejoicing. The promise refers to the future restoration of Israel but is a fitting word describing what we feel in our hearts today.
“Behold, the days are coming,” says the LORD, “When the plowman shall overtake the reaper, And the treader of grapes him who sows seed; The mountains shall drip with sweet wine, And all the hills shall flow with it.” Amos 9:13
